Loro Park (Puerto de la Cruz, North
Tenerife)
This fabulous Thailand styled tropical paradise is home to
the worlds most largest Parrot collection with over 300 species
and Aquarium with Shark tunnel, Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Tigers,
Jaguars, Flamingos, Alligators, Tortoises. It organizes amazing
shows like Sea-Lion show, Dolphin Show and Parrot Shows.
Loro Parque fascinates everybody. Open daily from 08.30 -
17.00, it has become a walker's paradise and popularly visited
during morning hours. Originally, a Parrot Park, it has now
grown into Tenerife's second biggest attraction after mount
Teide.
Parque Las Aguilas
Called with many names like The Eagle Park, Las Aguilas
Del Teide and The Jungle Park, this Parque Las Aguilas has
become one of Tenerife South's most exciting attractions.
Located on the outskirts of Los Cristianos, it gives a pleasant
down view of the mountain below over the sea. It is home to
a whole host of flora and fauna.
Covered in flora and fauna, along with the wandering jungle
pathways, the many exotic trees, parrots and other unusual
birds and animal like pygmy hippos, white tigers the park
is more than just an attractive zoo.
Apart from this, it has several other attractions including
a jungle trail for the children to play on, shops and restaurants,
but by far the most popular part of the jungle experience
are the shows.
Camel Park (Near Los Cristianos)
The camel park is full of amusement. Open daily from
around 10:00 to 19:00 with a free bus services from both Los
Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas, plan a trip to the park.
Enjoy the typical Canarian rides that last for about 1 hour
around the fields that surround the farm.
The camel park has a small cafe selling the usual range of
snacks and meals. You can dine on Arab meal or Arab snacks
and tea. However, not so suitable for the infirm or those
that easily suffers from seasickness.
Botanical Gardens (Puerto . . . Cruz)
Have an excellent day out in the most fantastic garden on
the island. The Botanical Gardens in Puerto de la Cruz are
well worth a visit if you are in town.
The gardens feature an incredible collection of tropical and
sub-tropical trees and plants.
Anybody would be impressed, even those who are not interested
in flowers.

TEIDE NATIONAL PARK
Lying 2000 meters above sea level, the Parque Nacional de
las Cañadas del Teide is covered with snow during winters
while the summer months are favorable to visit this arid landscape.
You will find an enormous volcanic crater 48 km in circumference,
out of which rises Mount Teide at a staggering 3.718 meters,
making it the highest mountain in the whole of Spain.
Access to the now extinct volcano is either by foot or by
cable car that will carry you almost to the very summit. Experience
the breath taking view of Gran canaria, La Palma, La Gomera
and El Hierro from the peak. This is the Canary Islands most
visited tourist attraction and must not be missed.
