Santa Monica Pier
Built between 1909 and 1916, Santa Monica pier, perched over the
Pacific Ocean is the most appealing neighborhoods. The heart of
Santa Monica is the 3rd St Promenade, a lively pedestrian mall packed
with shopping malls, movie theaters, bars, and cafes.In addition
to the many restaurants and souvenir stands, there is a full-service
amusement park with a roller coaster, ferris wheel, merry-go-round
and arcade giving a feel of a carnival than a place to shop. Cirque
du Soleil pitches their tent on the beach here annually, and there
are concerts and dances on the weekends in the summer.
The beach though comes to life only during the hottest summer days;
the surrounding area is a very pleasant place to spend an afternoon.
Moreover, the pier's end provides one of the best sunset views in
Los Angeles County.
It has plenty of old-world carnival attractions, including a 1920s
carousel, and seafood restaurants. The neighborhood is also home
to some excellent museums of modern art.

home of the rich and famous.
Situated at the west of Hollywood, this city in itself, exhibits
its wealth with wealthy manors on manicured grounds and streets

The John Paul Getty collection of museums is one of the few popular
