Location: located about 26km from the city.
The Leonardo da Vinci airport has very recently been upgraded
with satellite facilities. It has three major terminals to
allow easy flow of the huge traffic. Large amount of money
has been invested by the airport maintenance authorities in
making the airport; passengers friendly.
There are now three terminals one of which, Terminal C, is
linked to a satellite. The attractive new Terminal A caters
to domestic flights and has been upgraded with the most modern
equipments. Terminal B, a light and airy place, caters to
international as well as a number of domestic services. Terminal
C caters to major international flights and is connected to
Satellite C. It is complete in its own rights, with a full
range of shopping, catering and other services.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
The information counters are placed at the Arrivals and Departures
halls along with a tourist information counter in the Arrivals
hall to assist with further travel plans and flight details.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Eating and drinking:
There are several bars and restaurant at the airport. They
are very well maintained and serve the passengers with a range
of reasonably priced snack items.
Shopping:
The airport offers an array of shops to select the best Italian
goods from. Passengers can by the following Italian products:
Clothes, jewellery, perfumes, liqueurs, and precious traditional
food products.
Parking:
Leonardo da Vinci Airport has excellent car parking facilities.
There are four short-term multi-storey car parks at the airport,
which are directly linked to the terminals through pedestrian
walkways. Together with this, a long-term car park is located
on the motorway running between Rome and Fiumicino. A shuttle
bus service has been provided between the long-term car park
and Leonardo da Vinci Airport every 15 minutes.

Disabled Facilities:
The airport is facilitated with special lounges for disabled
passengers. At the time of booking the passengers are required
to specify the particular kind of assistance that they would
be requiring. Parking spaces for disabled passengers are available
at the long-term car park and on the first level of multi-storey
car parks B and C and the fourth level of car park D.
