Train:
Two trains’ shuttle between Fiumicino airport
and Rome: the Leonardo Express direct service to the Termini
Station leaves every 30 minutes from 6.37am to 23.37. The
metropolitan FM1 train to Roma Tiburtina station leaves every
20 minutes. It has the following stop over points: Trastevere,
Ostiense, and Tiburtina.
The total journey lasts about 40 minutes. Tickets for both
trains are easily available from airport vending machines.
Coach:
Several coach operators provide their services at the Fiumicino
airport. Terravision coaches take about 70 minutes to reach
Rome’s Termini Station – returns from €15.
They leave every 2 hours. Schiaffini Travel and Cotral provide
infrequent daytime and night services.
Shuttle:
Airport Connection Services provides shuttle services between
most of the hotels in Rome and the airport between 7am to
7pm. Up to two people can travel for a €30.
Taxi:
Taxis cost around €40-60 into central Rome and are easily
available outside the airport. The total journey time in taxis
is around 30-40 minutes.
