airport is located 13km (8 miles) east of New York City. If you
are traveling from Manhattan, you can take Grand Central Parkway
East. From Long Island, you can take Grand Central Parkway West.
The airport is signposted, so you will not find it difficult to
locate it. There is a free bus service between the terminals.

The information desks are available at various points throughout
the central terminal building.
Money and communications:
The airport has ATMs located in all terminals. Bureaux de change
can be found in the Central Terminal, the US Airways Terminal,
and the Delta Terminal.
Eating and drinking:
The airport has a selection of restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets,
The airport has a wide selection of shops. Shops, including duty-free
are present at the Central and Delta Terminal. Newsagents are
located in all terminals while the gift shops and bookstores are
located in the Central, Delta, and US Airways Terminals.
Currently all left-luggage facilities are suspended at the airport.
Trolleys are available in the Delta Terminal. A lost property

The airport has a medical and dental service, and a family assistance
The airport has disabled facilities available for disabled travelers
staffed by efficient representatives to assist hearing- and visually-impaired
travelers. The airport is fully equipped with ramps, lifts, disabled
toilets, and TDD phones. Unaccompanied disabled passengers are requested
to inform their airline in advance of any special assistance they
may need. All car parks have dedicated disabled spaces.
